About the Guides

Experience is critical for a guide. We believe that a wilderness guide
needs to be mature and experienced with many ancillary skills such as cook, and equipment maintenance specialist. We are confident that our guides are prepared to provide the leadership to allow you to take for granted that the mundane needs are well met and that unusual situations will be handled calmly and appropriately. All of our guides are CPR and American Red Cross First Aid certified.

We are very proud of our lead guides. They have decades, not just years of experience. We also have fine assisting guides and sherpas who have much canyon experience and are highly skilled and personable. Click on the guide’s name or picture for a brief profile.
